Wanda Wright

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Timmy Dale Roberts, her nephew, officiating.Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Wright was born March 4, 1944 in Wheeler. She moved to Pampa in 1949 where she graduated from Pampa High School. She married Troy Brewer on July 10, 1959. He died on April 19, 2010. She later married J. P. Wright on April 11, 1972 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2008. She worked in the nursing and home health care fields for many years. She later became the co-owner of Action Bail Bonds. Wanda and J. P. were foster parents to many children. She attended Briarwood Church. She spent most of her life caring for her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed. Wanda also enjoyed spending time at the VFW Post #1657, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and loving pet ?Bubba.? She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Mitzi Blaylock; 2 grandchildren: Jimmy Blaylock and Tanner Woodruff; 3 sisters: Veta Crocker, Dalphine Roberts and Dora Mae Roberts, and a brother: Billy Roberts. Survivors include 6 daughters: Rhonda Hagan and husband Van, Melinda Brewer, Alisha Stroud and husband Greg, and Becky Willis and husband Lynn, all of Pampa; a son: Troyce Brewer and wife Michelle of Pampa; additional daughters: Vicki Lesher and husband Tim and Staci Proctor and husband Tim, all of Pampa; 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandson on the way; a nephew: Timmy Dale Roberts and wife Ginger of Pampa; a niece: Sherry Garmon and husband David of Pampa; and her lifelong friend: Alice Hassler.Memorials may be made to the VFW Post #1657, P.O.
