Lonnie Vaughn

Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Vaughn was born September 6, 1949 in Waxahachie. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1990, moving from Waxahachie. Lonnie worked for Tyler Refrigeration in Waxahachie for 20 years. He was the owner and operator of the Hideaway Lounge in Pampa.Survivors include 2 sons: Keith Vaughn and wife Shana of Waxahachie and Lonnie Vaughn of Glenn Heights; a daughter: Suzette Seeton and husband Michael of Red Oak; 2 brothers: Eddie Vaughn and wife Lanita and Ted Vaughn and wife Mary, all of Maypearl; special friends: Dian Britten and Joe Wright, both of Pampa; 5 grandchildren, including Ashley and Cody Vaughn of Waxahachie; 3 great-grandchildren. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Ima Jean Vaughn; and his stepfather: Kenneth Melton.Memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, Texas 79065.
