Shirley Hargrove

Shirley Hargrove, 73, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in Pampa.Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Shirley was born May 17, 1939 in Vernon and came to Pampa in 1950 where she graduated from Pampa High School. She married Vester ?Cotton? Hargrove on Nov. 21, 1964. Shirley was employed by Citizens Bank and Trust and FirstBank Southwest for 35 years. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains and was an avid pet lover. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.Survivors include her husband, Vester ?Cotton? Hargrove of the home; 4 daughters, Terri Garvin of Pampa, Kathy Lewis of Perryton, Judy Parker of Tyler, and Nancy Mackie and husband Jerry Don of Canyon; a son, Denny Hargrove of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Faye Chilton, a son, Bob Hargrove, two brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law, Luke Garvin.Memorials may be made to PAWS, P. O.
