Services will be at 3:30 PM Friday, December 14, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Buster Reedy, a cowboy preacher, officiating.Burial will follow in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Bridwell was born October 8, 1944 in Pampa. He was raised north of Miami on Chicken Creek until his senior year in high school when he moved to Lefors, graduating from Lefors High School in 1963. Frank married Madonna Jordan on July 10, 1964 in Lefors. He had been a former resident of White Deer for 18 years. He was a rancher all of his life, working for Miami Cattle Company, Bill Tolbert Cattle Company, and Cactus Feeders, as well as being self-employed for many years. Frank was a member of the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association where he participated in team roping. He was a rodeo cowboy his entire life. He was a generous man who would do anything for anybody and a friend to everyone. Survivors include his wife; Madonna Bridwell of the home; 2 sons: Shane Bridwell and wife Kristi of Pampa, and Chadd Bridwell of Austin; 5 grandchildren: Garrett Bridwell of Amarillo, Frankie Bridwell, Taylor Smith, Tucker Bridwell and Hunter Smith, all of Pampa; a sister: Verna Smith of Dumas; 4 brothers: John Bridwell of Spearman, Vick Bridwell of Waggoner, Oklahoma, Joe Bridwell of Perryton, and Jim Bridwell of Borger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
