James Carl Green

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Nocona, with Pastor Dave Woodbury, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mr. Green was born January 1, 1932 in Nocona. He attended schools in Nocona and Walters, Oklahoma, and graduated high school in Nocona. James married Peggy Myers in 1964, and she preceded him in death. He worked as a mechanic for Ford Motor Company for 56 years.Survivors include 2 sons: Robert Green and wife Cathy of Orange County, California, and Matthew Green of Bowie; his brother: Cliff Green of San Jose, California; his best friend: Sharon Hobbs of Vega; a grandson: Nicholas Green of Orange County, California; and a granddaughter: Caroline Green of Orange County, California. James was preceded in death by a brother: Woody Green.
