Tulsa, OklahomaRetha June Little Jordan, 81, formerly of Pampa, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in Tulsa.Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in Carmichael-WhatleyColonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas with Glen Walton, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ in Amarillo, and Keith Feerer, minister of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa, officiating.Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Retha was born July 5, 1931, in Lefors, Texas to Herman and Rosella Phillips Little. She graduated from Lefors High School and married R. R. ?Ray? Jordan on Aug. 25, 1949 in Lefors. Ray preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2006. Retha was a resident of Pampa since 1955 before moving to Tulsa in 2009. She was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Retha was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen Burnette and husband Bruce of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Teresa Erdman of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Jamie Harper and husband Joel of Tulsa, OK; Katie Guy and husband Chris of Atlanta, GA; Neal Burnette of Virginia Beach, VA; and Ashley Ortiz and husband Randy of Denver, CO; and 5 great grandchildren, Lauren and Jordan Harper of Tulsa, Jackson and Miller Guy of Atlanta, and Izzabell Elena Ortiz of Denver; and a host of nieces and nephews. Retha was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.Memorials may be made to St. Jude?s Children?s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, Dec. 27, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
