Charlotte Geraldine Bradley Shultz, 100, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2012, in Pampa.Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Geraldine was born Dec. 14, 1912 in Arnett, Oklahoma to Clyde Isaac and Mary Susan Parks Bradley, the second of 4 children. She lost her mother when she was 9 in child birth, and her father raised 4 children on his own. Geraldine graduated from Arnett High School in 1932 and married B. R. ?Bunny? Shultz in 1933 at Seiling, Oklahoma. Bunny and ?Jerry,? as he called her, traveled with the Art Names Traveling Tent Theater for 3 years until the birth of their second child. They moved back to Arnett and in 1942, they moved to Texas. Bunny worked for the Cactus War Plant until the end of World War II and then moved his family to Pampa in 1945. Geraldine worked for Horace Mann School cafeteria for 15 years and was the Gray County Welfare Director for 15 years. In 1971, Geraldine was named ?Woman of the Year? by the Pampa Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of First Christian Church.She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, a son, Larry, in 2003, her parents, her stepmother, two granddaughters, two sisters, a brother, two stepbrothers, and her brother-in-law.Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Ray and husband Donnie of Pampa and Bernadine ?Punky? Daniels and husband Delbert of White Deer; her son, Gordon Shultz and wife Kay of Devine; a daughter-in-law, Daisy Shultz of Sugar Land; two sisters-in-law, Loree Shultz of Grand Prairie and Elsie Bradley of Lubbock; a step sister-in-law, Yvonne Sober of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, 4 great great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs of Pampa Regional Medical Center and Interim Hospice for their tender care of Geraldine.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pampa Senior Citizens Center, 500 W. Francis, Pampa, TX 79065, or Interim Hospice, 1901 Medi-Park, Suite 1055, Amarillo, TX 79106.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 7:30 PM on Sunday evening.
