Anne Jordan Davidson, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, and Rev. Jimmye Cole, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Anne was born Nov. 20, 1934 in Pampa and was a 1953 graduate of Pampa High School. She attended West Texas State University in Canyon. She married James W. ?Jim? Davidson on June 6, 1982 in Silverton. Anne resided in Silverton for 30 years before returning to Pampa in 1986. She had been the director of White Deer Land Museum in Pampa since 1989. Anne was pianist for the First Baptist Church in Silverton for 30 years, pianist for the First Church of the Nazarene in Pampa for 20 years, and was pianist for the Pampa Noon Lions Club for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught the Business and Professional Women?s Sunday school class for over 25 years. She was a member of the Silverton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Sheriff Rufe and Viola Jordan.Anne had a tremendous love for her family and friends, and she exhibited that love through her dedication to them. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and she exemplified it in all she set out to do. She lived what she believed and invested countless hours ministering to people anytime she saw a need. Anne?s graciousness, strength and character will leave a legacy for generations to come. Survivors include her husband, James W. ?Jim? Davidson of the home; a daughter, Lee Ann Nuckols and husband J. T. of Canyon; two sons, Ty Wayne McMurtry and wife Pam and Kelly McMurtry and wife Mary, all of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Gena Davidson of Amarillo; a stepson, Chief Davidson and wife Becky of Kearney, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Ryan Nuckols and wife Alyssa of Fort Worth, Cole Nuckols of Canyon, Calli Ann Hill and husband C. J. of Canadian, and Lexi and Lily McMurtry, both of Amarillo; two great grandchildren, Chava Nuckols and Ari Liam, both of Fort Worth; and two stepgrandchildren, Steele and Sawyer Davidson, both of Kearney, Nebraska.Memorials may be made to the White Deer Land Museum, 116 S.
