Charlene Smith Terrill, 93, died January 5, 2013 in Pampa.The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home in Pampa.An additional visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 11, 2013, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home in De Leon.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2013 at the De Leon Cemetery, with Bro. Jackie Avenshine, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Terrill was born May 10, 1919 in Tatum, New Mexico to Roy and Mary Smith. Her early years were spent in De Leon and she graduated from De Leon High School in 1937. She married James Ralph Terrill on January 18, 1938 in Eastland, and he preceded her in death. Charlene had been a resident of Pampa since 1961. She was a self-employed beauty operator in De Leon and Pampa, retiring after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Charlene was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include two daughters: Joy Thompson and husband Joe of Pampa, and Pat Hayes and husband Jim of Canton; 4 grandchildren Melodee McGinnis of Arlington, Brad McGinnis of Euless, Denise Childress of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Scott Thompson of Chatsworth, California; and 5 great-grandchildren; Colby Childress of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Jackson McGinnis of Euless, Griffen Thompson, Gracie Thompson and Tessa Thompson, all of Chatsworth, California.Memorials may be made to Pampa Meals on Wheels, P.O.
