Navella Willett Gee

Navella Willett Gee, 96, died January 8, 2013 in Amarillo.Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Priest Park Church of God with Rev. Bob Kirk, pastor, and Rev. Errol Hainer, grandson and pastor of Life Fellowship of Amarillo, officiating.Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Gee was born October 22, 1916 in Sunset. She married Arby Elden Gee on November 21, 1934 in Jacksboro. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1987. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1943. She was a member of Priest Park Church of God and was a homemaker. Survivors include 3 sons: Marlin Gee and wife Linda of Pampa, Roland Gee and wife Sherry of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Dennis Gee and wife Natalia of Amarillo; 1 daughter: Rosetta Miller and husband Charlie of Amarillo; daughter-in-law: Della Kay Gee of Pampa; 2 brothers: Daniel Willett of Sunset and Nathaniel Willett and wife Cathy of Haltom City; 17 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Navella was preceded in death by a son: Finis Gee in 1998; 2 grandsons, a great-granddaughter, her parents: Buford and Gracie Belle Willett; and 4 brothers: Richard Willett, B. W. Willett, Jr., Emanuel Willett and Nolan Willett.Memorials may be made to Priest Park Church of God, 731 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
