White Deer, TexasLinn Eakin, 70, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 in White Deer.Vigil will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer with Rev. Mieczyslaw Przepiora, pastor, and Rev. Tony Neusch, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Shamrock, officiating.Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Linn was born Nov. 8, 1942 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and was a 1960 graduate of Grant High School in Oklahoma City. She married Paul Eakin on Feb. 4, 1963 in White Deer. At Sacred Heart, she was a member of the Altar Society, served on the church council, and taught Sunday school for many years. Linn was a member of the PTA at Grandview Hopkins School for several years. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Davis, her mother, Lucinda Davis Runyan, her stepfather, Bill Runyan, a son, Shane Eakin, a brother, Johnny Davis, and a sister, Susie Ingargiola.Survivors include her husband, Paul Eakin of the home; 2 daughters, Donna Eakin of White Deer and Amy Eakin of Amarillo; 2 sons, Dane Eakin and wife Shelley of Amarillo and Darrin Eakin and wife Cindy of Pampa; a sister, Mary Malone and husband Charlie of Great Bend, KS; 2 grandchildren, Jordan Eakin and wife Samantha of Sundown and Ethan Eakin of Pampa; and by a great granddaughter, Jocelynn Eakin of Sundown.Memorials may be made to White Deer/Skellytown Food Pantry, P.
