Georgia Modean Long Chattin, 76, died January 17, 2013 in Pampa, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Eubanks Memorial Park in Mabank, Texas, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Chattin was born November 30, 1936 in Sweetwater, Oklahoma. She later moved to Pampa where she graduated from Pampa High School. She married Donald Stephens Chattin on November 3, 1956 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2001. Georgia enjoyed collecting angels. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.Survivors include her daughter: Gereta Kay Lunsford of Big Clifty, Kentucky; 2 granddaughters: Charlisa Elizabeth Tucker Garrity of Greensburg, Indiana, and Dena Victoria Marie Lunsford of Mexia, Texas; her brother: C. W. Long and wife Mary Frances of Pampa; 2 sisters: Amy Gereta Strickland and husband Johnny Joe of Wichita, Kansas, and Alberta Loeva Beesinger and husband Leon of Alpine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
