Charlie Sutterfield

Charlie Sutterfield, 71, died January 22, 2013 in Pampa. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Sutterfield was born May 19, 1941 in Pampa, and was a graduate of Pampa High School. He worked as a welder/machinist for Grayco/Panhandle Industrial/Cooper for over 40 years, retiring in 2004. He was a volunteer with the White Deer Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed going to garage sales and fishing. Survivors include his daughter: Linda Sutterfield and husband Bill Palmer of Amarillo; his son: Keith Sutterfield and wife Debbie of Pampa; grandson: Tony Guajardo of Lubbock; granddaughter: Samantha Sutterfield of Pampa; 4 great-grandchildren: 2 stepdaughters: Robin Payne of Pampa and Tina Newman of White Deer; 2 former wives: Linda Rollins of Hollis, Oklahoma, and Sandra Bynum of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie Melford and Martha Marie Milum Sutterfield; 2 brothers: Raymond Altus Sutterfield and Bobby Clinton Sutterfield; a sister: Margaret Rose Webb; and a stepdaughter: Kim Barbee.
