Felipe De Jesus Perez, 58, died January 22, 2013 in Amarillo.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Lucio Moreno, pastor of Primera Iglesia Bautista of Borger, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Perez was born June 2, 1954 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He married Marie Elizabeth Soria in 1979. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1984. Felipe worked for Mundy Construction at the Celanese Chemical plant. He also worked for Northwest Insulation with Zachary Construction at the Phillips Refinery in Borger. He was an avid sports fan, but he especially enjoyed helping others and loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his father: Felix Camacho of Guadalajara, Mexico; 4 children: Angelica Mendoza and husband Armando of Borger, Alex Villagrana and husband Rogelio of Amarillo, Abraham De Jesus and wife Erica of Pampa, and Andrea Castro and husband Antonio of Midland; 1 grandson and 7 granddaughters.Memorials may be made to the Pampa Optimist Youth Club, P.O. Naida, Pampa, Texas 79065.Mr. Perez will be available for viewing from 8:00 AM ? 5:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
