Amelia Resendiz

Amelia Resendiz, 81, died January 24, 2013, in Pampa.Vigil will be at 6:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2013 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Deacon Scott Schwind and funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2013, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Directors. Mrs. Resendiz was born December 12, 1931 in Jerecuaro, GTO, Mexico. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1996. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed.Survivors include her husband: Raul Resendiz of the home; 2 daughters: Maria Resendiz and Amelia Resendiz, both of Pampa; 9 sons: Evodio Resendiz and wife Guadalupe, Jose Resendiz and wife Rosa, Raul Resendiz and wife Esperanza, Miguel Resendiz and wife Esther, Eduardo Resendiz and wife Rachel, Adolfo Resendiz and wife Leticia, Manuel Resendiz, Salvador Resendiz, and Rogelio Resendiz and wife Gabriela, all of Pampa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers.
