McLean, TexasJeraldine Rodgers, 85, died January 27, 2013 in McLean.The family will receive friends at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home in Pampa from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A private family burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery at a later time.Mrs. Rodgers was born September 3, 1927 in Eliasville, Texas. As a young girl her family moved to White Deer where she attended school. She married Nonnie Rodgers on October 1, 1943 in Pampa, and he preceded her in death. She worked as a bookkeeper for Gibson?s stores, Sandra Corporation and the Pampa hospitals. Jeraldine was a gifted piano teacher and loved playing the piano. She will be missed greatly.Survivors include 2 daughters: Lori Beesley and husband Jim of Pampa and Gwenn Rahmes and husband Don of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a son: Steve Rodgers and wife Gracie of Childress; a sister: Delores Sims of Dumas; a brother: Dewayne Lovinggood and wife Linda of Alvin; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Jeraldine was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Lovinggood; and 2 sisters: Joanna Warren and Carol Cummings.Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
