Helen M. Koehler, 88, died February 12, 2013 in Gainesville.Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 15, 2013, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, Texas, with Keith Feerer, minister of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Koehler was born August 10, 1924 in Gainesville to Charlie Allen Carter and Opha Bruce Carter, and she attended schools in Gainesville. She was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa.Survivors include three sons: Kinzy Ray Wright of Gainesville, David Koehler and wife Jan of McKinney and Raymond Eric Koehler and wife Peggy of Pampa; a daughter: Margaret Tilley of Dripping Springs; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; her sister: Katherine Norris of Gainesville; and her sister-in-law: Anita Carter of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Koehler; her parents; her brothers: Charles, Lawson and David Carter; and one great-grandchild: Cliff Allen.Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, Inc., 3701 Kirby Drive, Suite 700, Houston, Texas 77098.
