Penni Mileen Pfitzner, 47, died Friday in Amarillo.Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Blossom Matthews, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Penni was born Aug. 21, 1965 in Pampa. She attended schools in Austin and was a 1984 graduate of Lanier High School in Austin. She attended Austin Community College. Penni married Scott Pfitzner on Dec. 22, 1991 in Pampa. She returned to Pampa in 1999 where she was a member First United Methodist Church and served as an administrative assistant at the church. She was a former member of the Pampa Altrusa Club, and she was an avid quilter. Penni was a beloved wife, mother, and sister and was an inspiration to many.Survivors include her husband, Scott Pfitzner, of the home; two daughters, Monika Pfitzner of Austin and Allison Pfitzner of Pampa; a son, Karl Pfitzner of Pampa; her stepfather, David Dixon, of Pampa; two brothers, Bob Long and wife DeAnn of Amarillo and Thomas Long of Pampa; and by a granddaughter, Lillian Elaine Patin, of Austin.
