Creedmoor, TexasClaudine Elizabeth Balch, 93, died March 3, 2013 in Creedmoor.Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa, with Keith Feerer, minister, officiating.Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mrs. Balch was born June 5, 1919 in White Deer to Elmer and Alice Frashier. She married Elmer L. Balch on June 18, 1938 at Pampa. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1997. Claudine was an active member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ where she taught women?s Bible classes. She was president of the Pampa Board of Realtors in 1986 and sat on most of the Board?s committees. That year, the Pampa Board was awarded more state prizes than any local Texas Board had ever won, and she traveled to the national convention in New York City that same year. Claudine had been a resident of Pampa until 2001 when she moved to Buda to be close to her sister. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Jean Cook; a sister, Elgin; and a brother, Loyd Frashier.Survivors include 3 sons, David Balch of Berkeley, California, Lloyd Balch and wife Brenda of Houston, and Gordon Balch and wife Frieda of Smithville, Oklahoma; a brother, Gordon Frashier and wife Joyce of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister, Betty Epperson of Buda; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Monday, March 11, at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
