Borger, TexasCathy Jean Hall Ballard, 63, died March 14, 2013 in Borger.Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, March 18, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. James Greer, director of missions at Top O? Texas Baptist Association, officiating.Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday at Edith Ford Cemetery in Canadian, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mrs. Ballard was born November 22, 1949 in Pampa. She was a 1968 graduate of Pampa High School and attended Draughon?s Business College. Cathy married Danny Ballard on August 14, 1981 in Pampa. She had been a resident of Borger for the past 24 years. She attended First Baptist Church in Borger and was a former member of Central Baptist Church in Pampa. Cathy loved animals, especially her dogs, Oreo, Kelly, Marley and Gabby.Survivors include her husband, Danny Ballard of the home; 2 daughters, Kim Lynch and husband Robert of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Kristin Ballard of Arlington; a son, Mike Ballard of Borger; her father, Zane Hall of Pampa; a sister, Aleta Jackson and husband Roy of Spearman; 7 grandchildren, Desiree Lynch, Jake Lynch and Abygail Venson, all of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Samuel Horan of Arlington, Josh Ballard of Denton, Emily Ballard of Dickson, Oklahoma, and Matt Bricker of Lewisville. Cathy was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Ballard Bricker on July 3, 2011, and by her mother, Catherine Hall on March 9, 1998.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter.
