Pampa, TexasWanda Jean Everson, 77, died March 17, 2013, in Amarillo.Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.A private family burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.Wanda was born November 8, 1935 in Tular, California to Alma and Nancy Malone. She was one of 7 children, including 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She moved to the Texas Panhandle in 1936 and has been a resident of Pampa for the last 36 years. She was a dedicated homemaker, raising 4 children. Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa. Her most enjoyable time was that spent with her children and grandchildren and she was always very involved with her family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Nancy Malone, and her siblings, Graly Malone, Leroy Malone, Naomi Brown and Elmer Malone.Survivors include her 2 sons: Gary Robinson and wife Jennifer of Canyon and Roger Jones and wife Colleen of Madison, Mississippi; 2 daughters: Vickie Slate and husband Elijah of Pampa and Sheila Hartman and husband Randy of Amarillo; 2 sisters: Betty Tate and Doretha Richards and husband Bob, all of McLean; 8 granddaughters; 7 great-grandsons; and 3 great-granddaughters.
