Laura Norman, 80, died April 10, 2013 in Amarillo.Entombment services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2013, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Andrew Williams, associate pastor of Trinity Fellowship, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Norman was born August 21, 1932 in Estelline. She had been with Bill Boyer for the past 27 years, and had been a resident of Pampa for the past 10 years. Laura had been involved in property management for 27 years. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship. She loved spending time with her family, working side by side with her husband, and going to grandchildren?s sports and school functions. Her love was for purses and jewelry and her hair and nails always had to be done. Laura never met a stranger and everyone who knew her loved her. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by former husbands J. D. Bessire and Bob Norman; and a brother-in-law, Bob Tobey. Survivors include her husband, Bill Boyer of the home; a daughter, Debbie Thomas of Canadian; 5 sons, Jim Bessire of Pampa, Doug Bessire of Midland, Lynn Boyer and wife Sandy of Arlington, Mike Boyer and wife Mara of Amarillo, and Joel Boyer and wife Christina of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 3 step children, Nan Haydon, Bobby Norman and Gary Norman; a sister, Daphna Tobey of Edinburgh, Indiana; a brother, Dwayne Walls and wife Shari of Bennington, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Wayland Thomas, Dallie Thomas, Jay Bessire, Nicole Boyer and Megan Boyer; 2 step grandchildren, Ruben Haydon and Dana Haydon Huffman; and 2 great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to Trinity Fellowship, 2225 N.
