Sharon Larae Ellison, 76, died Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Amarillo.Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of the Carpenter?s Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Ellison was born June 14, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa. She had been a resident of Pampa for the past five years. She married Jimmy Ellison on Aug. 31, 1979 in Fort Worth. Sharon was a medical receptionist and a manager of convenience stores in the Odessa area for several years, and she was a nanny for the Rawlyngson family in Dallas for several years. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Mesquite.Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Ellison, of the home; a son, Mark Clancy and his family of Scottsdale, AZ; 3 sisters-in-law, Brenda Donelson and husband Roger, and Linda Austin, all of Pampa; and Janet Barbee of Portland, Oregon; her extended family, Samantha and Ray Rawlyngson and their children, Madison and Morgan, all of Dallas; and by numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 I-40 West, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
