Sandy Montague

Sandy ?Sally? Montague, 60, died May 2, 2013 in Amarillo.Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Groom, with Rev. Andrew Martin, interim pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Montague was born December 12, 1952 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She attended Hollis High School and received her Bachelor?s degree from OSU. She married Sidney Montague in 1990 in Elko, Nevada, and they moved to Groom in 2002. Sandy worked at the Stop N? Shop and Dairy Queen for several years. She also worked as a substitute teacher in Groom. She was a very dedicated grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her mini horses and her pets. Sandy was a wonderful wife.Survivors include her husband, Sidney Montague of the home; 2 sons: Jeff Wilhelm and wife Trish and Dusty Wilhelm and wife Telisa, all of Oklahoma; 2 stepsons, Clint Montague and wife Lisa of Utah and Zack Montague and wife Audra of Texas; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sissy Montgomery and husband Neil of Oklahoma and Kathy Cooper of Kentucky; and 5 brothers, Richard Kitchen, Ronnie Kitchen, Donnie Kitchen and Faron Kitchen, all of Oklahoma, and Jerry Kitchen of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Louella Kitchen; and her aunt, Jewel Kitchen.
