Frankie Delorse Caldwell Newman, 71, died May 16, 2013 in Amarillo.Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery in Miami, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mrs. Newman was born January 14, 1942 in Van Alstyne. She married Glenn Newman on December 4, 1970 in Dallas. She had been a resident of Allison for the past 10 years, moving from Shattuck, Oklahoma. She was a secretary at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, retiring in 2004. She was a member of First Christian Church of Miami. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Newman of the home; a daughter, Vickie Maddux and husband Duane of Sharron, Oklahoma; a stepdaughter: Barbie Sciloff and husband Ron of Baggs, Wyoming; 2 stepsons: Donnie Newman and wife Terry of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Lewis Newman and wife Tina of White Deer; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Janet Marie Kimmel of Paradise, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Garvin Wayne Reeves in 2012; a granddaughter, April Coberley; and a great-granddaughter, Victoria Coberley.Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, Texas 79065.
