Doris White

Doris White, 81, died May 24, 2013 in Pampa.There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. White was born November 5, 1931 in Baldwin, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Miami, Oklahoma most of her life, moving to Pampa in 2012. She married Bill White in 1949 in Louisiana, and he preceded her in death in 2003. Doris owned and operated a day care center for over 20 years. She loved quilting, sewing and fishing. She was a great mother. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Patterson and husband Jeff of Pampa; her son, Tom White and wife Karen of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; her sister, Wanda Camp and husband Ben of Bella Vista, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
