Steven Ray Ring

Steven Ray Ring, 50, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 in White Deer.Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2013, at Central Baptist Church in Pampa, with Rev. Dean Young, pastor of First Baptist Church of Fort Townson, Oklahoma, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mr. Ring was born June 3, 1963 in Pampa and was a 1981 graduate of Lefors High School. Steve traveled for several years with Lansco Corporation. After his work with Lansco, he worked for the Chickasaw Indian Nation in Newcastle, Oklahoma as a security officer for 6 years. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. Steve enjoyed collecting guns and gourmet cooking. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ring on April 20, 2005, by his grandparents, J. T. and Elva Ring and Dee and Teba Pfeil, and by his brothers, Jesse ?Buddy? Ring, Jr., and Dennis James Ring.Survivors include his parents, Jesse and JoAnn Ring of Kingston, Oklahoma; a sister, LaWausa McCurley of White Deer; 3 nephews, Chad Box of Pampa, Micheal Shea Box and fianc?e Alva Santana and Evan Lee McCurley and fianc?e Heather Castillo, all of Amarillo. His extended family includes ?Mama Pat? Miller, Wendy George, Kayleen Conner, Stephenie Conner, Cindy Mathis, and Robyn Gilbert, all of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 513 E.
