Dollie Faye ?Pink Mama? Barker, 73, died Friday, June 21, 2013, in Pampa.Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rick Pearson, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Monday at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Ms. Barker was born Sept. 24, 1939 in Plainview where she was raised and attended Plainview schools. She had been a resident of Pampa for the past 8 years. She was a homemaker.Survivors include four daughters, Joy Dow and husband Charlie of Plainview, Emma Lou Keech and husband Butch, Caroline Barker, and Charlotte Barker, all of Pampa; two sons, Ricky Waldrip of Moore, OK and Billy Barker and wife Mary Ann of Pampa; two sisters: Darlene David of Pampa and Bertie Nunn and husband Cecil of Skellytown; two brothers, Charlie Watkins and wife Lee of Fayetteville, AR, and Dale Watkins and wife Shirley of Mountainburg, AR; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lou Watkins, by a daughter, Tina Kirby, and by three brothers and sisters.
