Denver Moose, 86, died July 7, 2013 in Lubbock. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, with Rev. Franklin Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mr. Moose was born December 5, 1926 in Woodsville, Ohio to John and Roxie Moose. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He married Marcella Arnold on April 1, 1947 in Gainesville. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2009. Denver had been a resident of Pampa and Lefors since 1950. He was employed by Sinclair Oil and Gas and later B & L Tank Trucks as a gang pusher. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Pampa for many years. Denver was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-in-law, Vickie Moose in 2012, a sister, Gladys, and three brothers, Lloyd, Ralph and Calvin.Survivors include his son, Perry Moose of Belton, a grandson, Perry Lee Moose and wife Teresa of Belton, three great-grandchildren, Matthew Moose of Dublin, Daniel Moose of Fort Worth, and Kristi Moose of Belton, and three great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bill and Jennifer Skully, Cathy Stubbs and her son Seth Skully, and Rachael Stubbs for their kindness to Denver.
