Janace Pitts Ross

Amarillo, TexasJanace Pitts Ross, 65, died July 14, 2013 in Dallas.Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Briarwood Church in Pampa, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mrs. Ross was born September 9, 1947 in Memphis, Texas. She graduated from Quail High School in 1966. She married Ron Ross on September 9, 1972 in Amarillo. Janace had been a resident of Gruver from 1972 until 1978 when she moved to Perryton. After 15 years in Perryton, she moved to Amarillo where she retired from First Bank Southwest in 2011. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and reading, but most of all, she loved being a ?Momo? to her granddaughters. Survivors include her husband, Ron Ross of the home, two daughters, Angela Freitag and husband John Eric, stationed in Bahrain, and Suzanne Pingel and husband Brad of Pampa, 3 granddaughters, Jessica Holsclaw of Moses Lake, Washington, Lauren Pingel and Jodi Pingel, both of Pampa, her parents, Elvis and Ruby Dell Pitts of Amarillo, her sister, Donita Roch and husband Jim of Sun City West, Arizona, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.Memorials may be made to Wheel Times, Inc., P.O.
