Our Mark has slipped the surly bonds of earth and is now wrapped in the arms of eternal peace.Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Linda Kelly, rector of St. Matthew?s Episcopal Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.Mark was born August 21, 1959 in Pampa. He attended school in Phoenix, Arizona and was a 1977 graduate of Greenway High School in Phoenix. He attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Mark married Gayle Mailley on July 27, 2009, in Elko, Nevada. At the time of his death, he was a supervisor for UPS in Oklahoma City. Mark attended Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Gayle, of the home, two daughters, Chelsea Barrett of Houston, Texas, and Shilo Barrett of Fort Worth, Texas, two sons, Austin Barrett and Dakota Barrett, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his mother, Carolyn Barrett of McKinney, Texas, a brother, Michael Barrett and wife Misty of Little Elm, Texas, a grandson, Weston Habib of Houston, his God parents, Jim and Karen Gardner of Pampa, and Gwen Lindgren of Rye, Texas, and by an aunt and uncle, Barbara and DuVal West of Dallas, Texas.Mark was preceded in death by his father, Richard ?Dick? Barrett, his grandparents, Freda and Guy LeMond, Finley Barrett, and Frances Elam.Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Humane Society, 745 SE 26th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73129
