Donald A. Wood, 73, died August 11, 2013, at Pampa, Texas.Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Bob Hudson of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Wood was born August 13, 1939 in Florence, Colorado. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1945. Donald was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was a former employee of J. C. Daniels, and was later a heavy duty mechanic for Calwell Production, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed working on cars. Donald was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Mejia, a son, Dennis Alfred Wood, and a sister, Mary Ellen Warner.Survivors include a daughter, Robbie J. Pudwell of Claude, a son, Robert Pudwell of Amarillo, two sisters, Charlene Wood and Betty Orr, both of Pampa, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Norma Arnold of Pampa.
