Elizabeth Telkamp Swinney, 59, died August 14, 2013 in Amarillo.Services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, August 19, 2013, at First Christian Church, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor, officiating.Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday at Erick Cemetery in Erick, Oklahoma under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Swinney was born October 5, 1953 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She attended Pampa schools and was a 1972 graduate of Amarillo High School. She moved to Pampa in 1984 from Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Elizabeth married Gary Swinney on July 1, 1988 at the First Christian Church in Pampa. She worked at Sanders Sewing Center, Sears, Ideal Food Store and Buzzy Automotive. She was a certified water operator for J & J Raw Water Corporation. She was a member of First Christian Church. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Sanders in 1988. Survivors include her husband, Gary Swinney of the home, three sons, Paul ?Matthias? Telkamp of Norfolk, Virginia, Jeremy Telkamp and wife Melissa of Marysville, Ohio, and Jim Swinney and wife Jessica of Amarillo, her mother, Sylvia Sanders of Pampa, two brothers, Johnny Sanders and wife Janet and Kenneth Sanders, all of Pampa, nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Telkamp, Adrian Telkamp and Whitney Telkamp, all of Norfolk, Virginia, Zachary Telkamp and Makaylah Telkamp, both of Marysville, Ohio, Riley Lee Swinney-Closser of Pampa, and Preston Swinney, Landon Swinney and Savannah Swinney, all of Amarillo. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, Texas 79065.
