Earline Sharon Folks Combs, 68, died Wednesday, Aug 21, 2013, in Pampa.Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, Aug, 25, 2013, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 326 Rider, with Pastor Jerry Webb, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Combs was born on January 26, 1945 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. As a young girl she moved to the Texas Panhandle. She attended schools in Borger and later attended the Phillips Beauty School of Borger. She married Dennis Combs in 1963 in Pampa. She and her family moved to Portland, Oregon where they raised their children. She eventually moved back to the Panhandle where she remained ever since. She worked as an independent home health care provider. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. She loved the arts and liked to paint and draw. She also liked the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping. She will be greatly missed and remembered as a very sweet lady who loved life, people, and God.Survivors include 2 sons, Denny Combs of Pampa, and Ronnie Combs and wife Anna of Seattle, Washington, a brother, Rocky Warren of Gerald, 4 grandsons, Josh Combs, Jonathon Combs all of Pampa, Jadon Combs, Jarod Combs all of Seattle, Washington, and a granddaughter, Jessica Moore and her husband Todd of Laos. Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Combs, her parents, Earl and Lillie Folks, a son, Steven Combs, and 3 sisters, Wanda Folks, Denna Folks, and Bobbie Southerland.Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 326 Rider, Pampa, TX 79065.The family will receive friends at 1200 N. Wells, Apt. 34, in Pampa.
