Rebecca ?Becky? Sue Corley, 61, died September 16, 2013 in Pampa.Services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Lambert, pastor of First Baptist Church of Knox City, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Corley was born August 23, 1952 in Sayre, Oklahoma. As a young girl, her family moved to Pampa where she attended schools. Later, she would return to Oklahoma, living in Clinton. She married Jimmy Corley on August 21, 1970 in Pampa. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1981. Becky worked at Ray & Bills Grocery and for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Jordan Unit, where she retired from 12 years of service. She donated a lot of her time to the Tralee Crisis Center. Most of all, she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnett and Billie Walkup, a brother, Leslie Walkup, and three sisters, Patricia Perry, Nellie Walkup and Betty Walkup. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Corley of the home, a daughter, Carla Robinson and husband Lewis of Pampa, two sons, Jimmy Corley, Jr., of Pampa, and Richard Taylor and wife Elaine of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a brother, Johnny Walkup and wife Jackie of Chickasha, Oklahoma, a sister, Jo Ann Gonzales and husband Manuel of Clinton, Oklahoma, four granddaughters, Jordann Pairsh and husband J. D. and Torri Hughes, all of Richland, North Carolina, Chainee Corley of Pampa, and Serenity Corley of Borger, two grandsons, Tanner Hughes and Trae Corley, both of Pampa, a great-granddaughter, Danni Pairsh, of Richland, North Carolina, a sister-in-Law: Anna Young of Lefors, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
