Martha Doss

Martha C. Doss, 102, died September 26, 2013 in Pampa.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Keith Feerer, minister of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Doss was born January 7, 1911 in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Leonard Doss on September 29, 1931 in Altus. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1995. Martha was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, William ?Buster? Claunch, John Claunch, Allan Claunch and Julian Claunch, and a sister, Pauline Prather.Survivors include three sons, Wayne Doss and wife Shirley and Darrell Doss and wife Sherry, all of Midland, and Bobby Doss and wife Clarice of Pampa, two sisters, Nellie Larkin and Betty Crable, both of Pampa, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.The family would like to offer a special thanks to Interim Hospice and Debbie, Deborah, Lori, Patsy and Karla for their love and care of their mom.Memorials may be made to Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, 1342 Mary Ellen, Pampa, Texas 79065.
