White Deer, TexasBetty Langston, 83, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Pampa.Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2013, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Dee Palmer of the Carpenter?s Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Langston was born January 5, 1930 in Keokuk County, Iowa. She had been a resident of White Deer for the past 60 years. She married Milford Langston on September 23, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a teacher at the First Baptist Church Child Development Center in Pampa for 20 years. Betty loved working in her garden and crocheting. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Kellie Carter and Joy Long, and a sister, Dorothy Clubb. Survivors include three daughters, Carlene Long and husband Jim of Dimmitt, Bonnie Cox and husband Terry of Pampa, and Dala Warminski and husband Douglas of White Deer, two sons, Stephen Langston of Dallas and Melvin Langston of Weatherford, nine grandchildren, Jason Long and wife Julie, Jeff Long and wife Mandy, Allison Langston, Brandy Langston, Monica Dumke and husband Will, Michael Langston, Mason Langston, Derrick Warminski and Brittany Warminski, eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
