Benjamin Alex Hassler

Benjamin Alex Hassler, 72, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, in Pampa.There will be no services scheduled. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Hassler was born on Feb. 26, 1941 in Couch County, Texas and was reared in Skellytown. He worked in the oil and gas industry and also as a paralegal. He was an artist who really enjoyed painting.Survivors include his former wife, Kathy Hassler, of Pampa; two daughters, Rhonda Gutierrez and Anita Stover, both of Pampa; a son, Shane Coleman and wife Melanie of Skellytown; three sisters, Carol Rovner, Judy Bosley, and Roberta Hassler, all of Skellytown; a brother, John Hassler, of Borger; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
