Wilba Mae Rogers, 86, died October 18, 2013 in Pampa.Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Interim Hospice, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mrs. Rogers was born December 3, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Borger most of her life, moving to Pampa in 1994. She was a Baptist. Wilba enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and playing UNO. She was a very dedicated "Granny" with a heart of gold. Now she is set free. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Middleton and Neal Middleton, and two sons, Floyd Temple and Tony Mays. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Mays of Borger, and Linda Batman and husband Walter of Pampa, a son, Wesley Temple of Hildago, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Interim Hospice nurses, Deborah Ferrell, Lori McCarthy, Debbie Douglas, Kara Jimenez, Jordan Douglas, Patsy Young, Sue Daugherty, Carmen Ochoa, and Carla Robison for their loving care of Mrs. Rogers.Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
