Raul Soriano, 43, died October 23, 2013 in Pampa. Vigil will be at 7:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Christopher Schwind, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Soriano was born March 16, 1970 in Monterrey, Mexico. As a young boy, his family came to the United States where he would attend school and graduate from Pampa High School. He worked at United Supermarket and Fiesta Foods. Raul was the biggest Pampa Harvester sports fan and he would attend every home game for football and basketball. He had a very giving spirit where he would help support and participate in all fund raising events. Raul will be greatly missed by his family, including his “kids”, Junior, Damien, Gavy, Adryanna, Mozes, Rane, Yazlien and Roman, and his many friends and the community. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Jimenez, and three cousins, Salvador Rodriguez, Alma Bravo and Gerardo Rodriguez. Survivors include his parents, Paulo and Maria Regalado of Pampa, three sisters, Rosa Mendoza and husband Raul and Griselda Wilson and husband Reynaldo, all of Pampa, and Anna Regalado and husband Angel Aguilar of Carlsbad, New Mexico, three brothers, Jose Luis DelaTorre and wife Hilda and Gerardo DelaTorre and wife Hermelinda, all of Pampa, and Oswaldo Soriano of Abilene, his grandmother, Carmen Jimenez of Fabens, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
