Hilmar Paul Heinritz, 91, died October 26, 2013 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2013, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with The Rev. Christopher Hall, senior pastor of Grace Lutheran Church of Tulsa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Heinritz was born September 10, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Paul and Flora Knirnschild Heinritz. He married Carol June Serviss in 1947 in Tulsa. He worked for Franks Manufacturing, Cabot Machinery Division, and Ingersol-Rand, retiring in 1984 after 43 years of service. Hilmar was a merchant Marine veteran, serving 3 ½ years during World War II. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ottillia Heinritz, and a brother Floranz Heinritz. Survivors include his wife, Carol June Heinritz of the home, a daughter, Deborah Hargus and husband Michael of Amarillo, a son, Michael Paul Heinritz and wife Jean of Spokane Valley, Washington, a sister, Ernestine Meyer of Dallas, a brother, Cletus Heinritz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
