Larry Earl Tarvin

Larry Earl Tarvin, 72, died November 3, 2013 in Pampa. There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Tarvin was born February 25, 1941 in Shamrock. He had been a resident of Pampa for five years, moving from Dallas. He was a 1959 graduate of Pampa High School. Larry attended Eastern New Mexico University on a golf scholarship, graduating with a B.S. degree in business. He enjoyed playing professional golf on the PGA tour. Larry was a Baptist. He was a very loving person and was loved by many. Survivors include his companion and caregiver, Glenda Hesley of the home, his sister-in-law, Patricia Tarvin of Amarillo, and several nieces and nephews, including nephews Jay Tarvin and Scott Tarvin, both of Amarillo.
