Carol June Heinritz

Carol June Heinritz, 91, died November 12, 2013 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 15, 2013 at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with The Rev. Christopher Hall, senior pastor of Grace Lutheran Church of Tulsa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Heinritz was born June 26, 1922 in Webb City, Missouri to Charles and Lula Serviss. She graduated from Webb City High School and worked in a local drugstore and clothing store. She married Hilmar Paul Heinritz on November 27, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Grace Lutheran Church. They were married for 66 years as they moved throughout Texas, making stops in Kilgore, Alice, Corpus Christi, Odessa and finally Pampa. They had been longtime residents of Pampa and active members of Zion Lutheran Church before moving to Park Central Retirement Center in Amarillo. They were devout Christians and always actively involved. Hilmar preceded her in death on October 26, 2013, 16 days prior to her passing. They are together again for all eternity. Survivors include her son, Michael Heinritz and wife Jean of Spokane Valley, Washington, her daughter, Deborah Hargus and husband Michael of Amarillo, two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
