Verneice Gee

Verneice Gee, 69, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dean Whaley, minister, Bell Avenue Church of Christ of Amarillo, and Zeb Sailors, retired minister, officiating. Mrs. Gee was born July 12, 1944 in Louisville, Arkansas. She had been a longtime resident of Lefors, graduating from Lefors High School in 1963. Verneice was a homemaker, lover and friend. She was a member of Lefors Church of Christ and loved her church. Her smile will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. and Vivian Hatcher. Survivors include her husband, Gene Gee of the home, a daughter, Michella Howe and husband Kevin of Lefors, two sons, David Gee of Borger, James Gee and wife Jacque of Lefors, two brothers, Curtis Hatcher and wife Ann of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Jack Hatcher and wife Kathy of Wheeler, her twin sister, Eleice Frew of Orlando, Florida, seven grandchildren, Courteney, Christina, Brittney, Jenna, Cody, Jade and Nathan, and seven great-grandchildren.
