Christopher Troy Blanton

Christopher Troy Blanton, 43, died in Roberts County on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Miami, with Rev. Anthony Inman, pastor, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Blanton was born December 29, 1969 in Lockney. He had been a resident of Miami for the past four years, moving from Fairfax, Oklahoma. Christopher was employed by Nick Thomas Construction, LLC as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and repairing things. His jokes and his smile will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Blanton in 2009. Survivors include his wife, Joann Blanton of the home, a daughter, Santana Mann of Pampa, three sons, Lane Blanton of Lawton, Oklahoma, Justin Mann of Pensacola, Florida and Christopher Drexil of Miami, a sister, Mary Sires and husband Brandon, two brothers, Kurt Blanton of Atlanta, Georgia, and Robert Hooten of Miami, and his father, Randall Blanton of Lubbock.
