Linda June Smith

Linda June Smith, 61, died December 9, 2013 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013, at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Smith was born January 10, 1952 in San Diego, California to Johnnie and Colleen Lowe. She was reared in San Diego where she made lifelong friends, and married Michael B. Smith in 1974 in San Diego before moving to Pampa in 1975. Linda was a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking, painting and working in the yard. She loved her family and friends, and caring for animals. Linda was preceded in death by her wonderful mother, and her very special friend, Sandra Chumley. She felt like she was so blessed. Survivors include her husband Michael Smith of the home; a son, Michael John Smith and wife Jennifer of Keller; two grandsons, Byron and Beau, both of Keller; her father, Johnnie Lowe of Pampa; her brother John “Bud” Lowe and wife Pam of Pampa; her dog “Buddy”, and her grand dogs, “Zoey” and “Molly.” Memorials can be made to Central Baptist Church, 513 E.
