Marcia Kay Stout

Marcia Kay Stout, 71, died December 12, 2013 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, December 16, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor, and Jim Bob Mitchell, son-in-law, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stout was born August 21, 1942 in Monahans, and was a lifelong resident of Pampa. She married Benny Stout on December 28, 1959 in Raton, New Mexico. She was the attendance clerk for Pampa High School for 17 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Elizabeth Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Vita Ward; and her brother, Doyle Ward, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Benny Stout of the home; two sons, Steve Stout of Scurry and Danny Stout and wife Jennifer of Alvarado; a daughter, Karla Mitchell and husband Jim Bob of White Deer; nine grandchildren, Lauren Stout, Dylan Stout and wife Brittany, Seth Stout, Garrett Stout, Ty Stout and wife Rachel, Emily Stout, Matthew Stout, Riley Mitchell and Merrit Mitchell; and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Stout. Memorials may be made to the Elizabeth Sunday School Class, c/o First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 621, Pampa, Texas 79066-0621. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
