Judith “Judi” Edwards, 67, of Pampa, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, December 23, 2013 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Christopher Schwind, associate pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Judi was born November 29, 1946 in Childress to Billie P. and J. Roy Leverett, and was reared in Amarillo. She was a 1965 graduate of Tascosa High School. She married Jack D. Edwards on October 4, 1976 in Pampa. Judi was co-owner and broker of Quentin Williams Realtors and she was a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and held numerous positions within the Pampa Board of Realtors. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Steve Edwards. Survivors include her husband, Jack D. Edwards of the home; her children, Cliff Medley of Amarillo, Tracy Alvord of Lewisville, Jack D. Edwards, Jr. and wife Tammy of Spring, Susan Edwards of Pampa, David Edwards and wife Fran of Victoria, Diane Sims and husband Gary of League City, Jeanne Derr and husband Randy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Sam Edwards of Marianna, Florida; two brothers, Nick Leverett and wife Jannie of Plano and Barry Leverett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
