Cheryl Kay Tatum, 54, of Pampa, died Dec. 20, 2013, in Borger. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dallas Stringer, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Kay was born Aug. 1, 1959 in Wellington and was a 1977 graduate of Shamrock High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as a pianist. Kay was a former secretary for the Jordan Prison Unit. She was preceded in death by her father, B. F. Chance, and her birth mother, Onita Kerns. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah E. Tatum of Palestine; a son, Tyler B. Tatum of Pampa; her mother, Wanda B. Chance of Pampa; a brother, Carl W. Bissell of Palestine; two sisters, Linda Gayle Hodges of Olla, Louisiana and Nita Carol Zuber of Farmerville, Louisiana.
