Raymond Lewis Rogers, 73 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died December 26, 2013 in Dallas. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Rogers was born April 30, 1940 in Pampa. He graduated from Miami High School in 1958 and was a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Lewis married Virginia Gail Vance on July 25, 1964 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Tulsa for the past 24 years. He worked for Linde Process Plants, Inc. for 20 years, retiring in September of 2008. Lewis was a member of the Miami Masonic Lodge #805 where he was a 32 degree Mason, the Scottish Rite Consistory, the Association for Advanced Cost Engineers and First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Rogers of the home; his daughter, Christina Behrens and husband Chris of Carrollton, Texas; his son, Richard Rogers and wife Melissa of Bedford, Texas; and three grandchildren, London Rogers of Bedford, and Brandon Behrens and Ethan Behrens, both of Carrollton. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
